Jewel Jar Treat

Our fantastic year 2 class have been working extremely hard and have
already reached their first jewel jar target. This afternoon they had a tea
party and were extremely kind to invite all the year 1 children to join
them, by writing them each an invitation. We had a great afternoon with
teddies and games plus a few yummy treats. Well done year 2!

Rosh Hashanah

Thank you to Abigail for bringing in some great resources to tell us all
about Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year). Abigail and Eva told us about the
celebration and read us a lovely story to help explain all the
traditions. We even got to eat the symbolic food of apples and honey, with
hopes of a sweet new year. Happy Jewish New Year!

Forest School Habitats

Apologies with the delay in posting this… Our blog is finally up and
running!

In science this term we are looking at animals (including humans). After
discussing different classes of animals such as birds, reptiles and
mammals, we then spoke about their habitats. Outside, during forest school,
we discussed which animals might live in the forest. The children then made
their own mini habitat for an animal of their choice. Check out these
brilliant homes for squirrels, birds, spiders and more.
